A catching up blog. I hope...
After boxing day we moved venues. We spent a few days on the beach, Mustang Island to be exact, near Port Aransas. This is just outside of Corpus Christi. Our new home was pretty swanky.. the most fanciest and the most expensiviest that we've stayed at. However our internet did not work very well at this place so we were unable to post to the blog.
New years eve day was amazing.. 27 degrees and sun shine! Happy new year everyone!
The beach was great. We walked from our site, down a short boardwalk onto the sandy beach. People could camp on the beach, if they wanted, but we figured that the fifth wheeler was safer on concrete than in the sand dunes.
Our next stop was Mercedes Texas. This is where we are now. The weather is fantastic and the park is huge.. with lots of "winter Texans" many of whom are canucks. Lots to do at this park as it is a 55 plus park. Very friendly people and great internet access. so I can post photos later. Jack is getting over a cold and I'm dealing with my eyes.. but aside from these minor things we are doing great.. bye for now
