Hi y'all!

Drove through the Tennessee Mountains, thru the northwest corner of North Carolina and into Georgia. Our “tom” took us on a scenic journey up and down, round and round. Beautiful drive through Cherokee and Chattahoochee National Forest. Exciting moments when it started to snow while we were driving on those twisty scenic hills. We were heading for a camp weekend near Cleveland Georgia with Jack’s cousins Wayne and his wife April, Anne and her husband Richard, and Darlene. On Sunday we explored Helen Georgia, a small resort town built around a Bavarian theme. At a roadside market we tried boiled peanuts and barbequed pork rind. We had the most wonderful fried apple pie for desert at a barbeque restaurant. Yes, this is a deep fried turnover type of pie with fresh sliced apples. Really enjoyed our time hanging out with the cousins.
